Growing muscles like those of the champion bodybuilders takes time. But if you want to build muscles fast, you should see a professional fitness trainer that will guide you. Then you should exert enough effort to do. It should be coupled with patience and determination.

Sometimes, different programs that let your muscles grow in just few weeks are quite deceiving. In the end, all of what you’ve got are just tired muscles and muscles pains. Building muscles fast will not be easy as we think, but here are some tips that will help you realize that dream.

Since you are growing your muscles, you really have to increase in weight. Increasing your weight doesn’t mean you have to eat and eat anything. Instead, you have to select the foods that you are going to eat.


Look for foods that are rich in carbohydrates and proteins for these are needed to boost your weight. At the same time, increase your power for they are known to be good at building muscles.

Have some resistance exercises. Resistance exercises will help develop your strength and stamina. When you say resistance exercises, these are exercises that require your muscles to contract against any external force like your dumb bells, weight machines, elastic tubing and many others that make your muscles contract.

There are certain types of resistance exercises that you can apply, depending on your ability. You can try power lifting, weightlifting and strength training.

Another tip in building your muscles fast is by performing reps and sets. Reps are the number of times that you have done a specific exercise while sets are number of cycles of reps that you have completed. So when you have completed 20 pushups, that is called 20 reps of pushups.

So you can say you have one set of 20 reps of pushups. Instead of having 20 reps, make it 40 or more. If you only perform 3 sets before, then make it 5 sets now. With this, you will be able build your muscles in just a few weeks.

Building muscles fast doesn’t mean you have to do your routines always. You should also take time resting and relaxing in between your reps and sets. Or else you will burn out.

Just remember, you should not plunge at once into doing those lifting and workouts. Be sure that your body and mind is ready to do all the routines. And the rest will be alright for you.
